We used ‘Direct Hit’ Rapid Reload D80-1’s on an action packed independent feature and we were thoroughly impressed with the time and money Direct Hit saved us. Prepackaged, they could be moved quickly and easily if our director changed his mind, on where the hits were placed or how many. The D80-1’s hid well under wardrobe and we had zero misfires or duds. Resets were easy and happened in moments. With so many shows sadly turning to CGI for their gunfire and bullet hits, we as performers really appreciate something real to feel and react to. Direct Hit squibs looked, felt, and worked great. If time, money and performance are factors….. we highly recommend them.
